Semi-Annual HOA Membership Meetings
Our membership meetings occur twice a year on the third Thursday in March and the third Thursday in September. These meetings are held at the Edwardsville Public Library Presentation Room (upstairs) at 112 South Kansas Street. Reminders are also posted on the subdivision bulletin boards at the north and east entrances prior to each meeting.
All residents are welcome to join us and a $75 door prize is awarded to one lucky attendee at each meeting.
A Friendly Reminder
Any trees with low hanging branches over sidewalks should be trimmed by residents.
Volunteers Needed!
Many new Oaks residents have moved into our community in the last few years. We would like to try to organize new resident committees like some that worked well in the past. Several of our board members have served for over 8 years and have been handling all of the committee tasks as well.
We'd really appreciate it if you all would view the different positions needed at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F45AEA62DA4FC1-hoa and consider volunteering some time to help your Oaks community.
If you have questions, please reach out to any board member or email questions to social@theoaksedw.org. Once positions are filled, we will reach out to volunteers with more details on each position. Thank you!
Trash and Recycling
REMINDER - Please place your trash and recycle bins at least 5 feet apart. The drivers are having issues with knocking over bins that are too close together. Here are the instructions as posted on the City's website:
All trash must be bagged, placed inside the waste container, and the lid must be closed. Items must not be stacked on top of the containers. Additional garbage bags left on the curbside will not be picked up. On pick-up days, the container must be placed within 3 feet of the street and at least 5 feet from a mailbox, parked cars, utility poles, the recycling container or other obstacles. The wheels of the containers must generally face the customer’s property (not the street)
